Which lenses are right for me?

Blue light lenses

Improved eye comfort for screen users

Are you spending your days staring at a computer screen? Blue light lenses filter out damaging artificial light for more comfortable viewing.

Blue light lenses reduce headaches, dry eyes and blurry vision, improving your ability to focus at work. They also offer enhanced protection from eye diseases, including macular degeneration.

If you use a screen for more than 2 hours a day, ask your optician about blue light lenses.

High index lenses

Lightweight lenses for strong prescriptions

Thick, heavy lenses dragging you down? High index lenses offer a super lightweight option, without compromising on visual correction.

Ideal for people with a strong prescription, upgrading to a high index lens removes the need for chunky glasses, which may not be to your taste. They work just as well as standard lenses, but with a lighter, more comfortable feel.

Chat to your optician about a high index upgrade.

Photochromic lenses

Light-adaptive lenses for night-and-day wear

If you’re constantly switching between glasses and sunglasses,
photochromic lenses are a two-in-one solution for round-the-clock wear.

Perfect for those who wear glasses throughout the day, these lenses continuously adapt to changing light conditions. They’re clear indoors and at night, and transition to sunglasses in bright sunlight, blocking UV rays for extra protection.

If you spend your day indoors and out, speak to your optician about photochromic lenses.

Anti-reflective lenses

Enhance comfort with reduced glare

Are you prone to headaches, blurred vision and watery eyes when using your glasses? Anti-reflective lenses eliminate glare, reducing eye strain for a far more comfortable wear.

They also mean other people can see your eyes, rather than distracting light reflected in your lenses.

For enhanced aesthetic, clarity and comfort, chat with your optician. They will be able to advise on the best anti-reflective lens upgrades for you.

Polarised lenses

UV protection prescription sunglasses

With your day-to-day glasses covered by your employer-funded voucher, why not treat yourself to a pair of prescription sunglasses?

Ideal for sunny days all year round, polarised lenses give you the clarity of prescription glasses with the comfort of UV protection. They’re perfect for those who need glasses when driving, where glare from the sun can reduce visibility.

Looking for a new pair of sunnies?
Ask your optician about polarised lenses.

Which frames are right for me?

Everyone can look fabulous in a pair of specs. It’s all about choosing a frame that highlights your best features – and that starts with your face shape. Like all fashion items, you should always go with frames that make you feel great. But if you need a point in the right direction, check out our quick guide below.

Oval face shape

With your oval shape features and higher cheekbones, you can pull off almost any style of frame. Square, tortoise, rectangular – it all works!

Don’t be afraid to go big and bold with an oversized frame, but steer clear of narrow frames that could further lengthen your face.

Why not try…

  • Aviator frames
  • Classic D-frames
  • Square frames

Square face shape

If your face is square with a defined jawline, try a rounded or oval frame. Square faces tend to be widest along the forehead and jaw, so sleek metal frames will also soften the face and allow your best features to shine.

To balance your features, ensure the width of your frames is slightly wider than your cheekbones.

Why not try…

  • Round or curved frames
  • Rimless or semi-rimless frames
  • Wide, narrow frames

Round face shape

Round face shapes tend to have wide, full cheeks and a rounded chin with smooth edges. Angular frames with bold details and clean lines will sharpen these softer features, helping your face appear longer and thinner.

If your face is round, opt for frames that sit just above your cheekbones.

Why not try…

  • Narrow geometric frames
  • Wider rectangular frames
  • Cat eye frames

Heart face shape

The most versatile (and rarest) of all the face shapes, heart-shaped faces feature a wider forehead and narrow chin.

Bottom-heavy frames with rounded bases look great on heart-shaped faces. You can also try winged-out frames that extend slightly wider than your forehead.

Why not try…

  • Aviator frames
  • Bottom-heavy oval frames
  • Wayfarer frames

Diamond face shape

If you have wide, full cheekbones and a narrow jaw and eyeline, you’re lucky enough to have a diamond-shaped face. The good news is, you’ll look great in most styles!

For a classy look, try rimless or oval frames with a strong browline that contrast with your full cheekbones. Cat-eye frames work great with your features, too.

Why not try…

  • Top-heavy oval frames
  • Cat-eye frames
  • Rectangular frames

Triangle face shape

Triangular face shapes feature a narrow forehead and wide, angular jaw line. Wide
frames that extend just beyond the width of your jaw will broaden out the top of your face
to create balance.

To maximise your look, try frames that are bolder on top and lighter on the bottom.

Why not try…

  • Browline frames
  • Wide frames
  • Round or oval frames
